What OrderPause does

OrderPause helps users reduce impulse food-delivery spending by adding friction before selected delivery apps and websites open. The app estimates delivery spend locally based on settings you choose, such as weekly budget and average order value.

Information stored on your device

  • Your selected apps and websites
  • Your weekly budget and average order estimate
  • Local intervention history, including allow and skip events
  • Rotating message state and cooldown timing
  • Local subscription status cache used to reflect RevenueCat purchase state

What OrderPause does not do

  • It does not read real order totals from delivery apps
  • It does not scrape the contents of other apps
  • It does not require calorie logging or food journaling
  • It does not send remote analytics for core app functionality

Purchases and subscription data

If you purchase OrderPause Pro, subscription handling is provided through Apple’s In-App Purchase system and RevenueCat. OrderPause may receive subscription status information, such as whether the Pro entitlement is active and whether subscription offerings are available, so the app can unlock premium features correctly.

RevenueCat’s use of data is governed by RevenueCat’s own policies. Apple’s payment processing is governed by Apple’s policies.

Retention and deletion

Your local app data remains on your device unless you remove it. You can clear local settings, selections, and history using the Reset local data action in the app’s Settings screen.
